Commercial Ice Machine Not Making Ice
Ice machines run harder and more continuously than almost any other piece of commercial equipment, and their harvest cycles depend on a tight combination of water supply, refrigeration, and mechanical timing all working together. When one part of that chain falters, ice output drops off or stops entirely, often with little other warning.

Checks staff can do before calling
Confirm the water supply valve to the machine is fully open and the machine's water inlet filter, if fitted, isn't visibly clogged. Check the machine has adequate clearance around it for its condenser to draw air, since ice machines are often squeezed into tight cupboards or under-counter spaces with poor ventilation.
If ice is forming but not releasing, or is coming out as small, cloudy, or misshapen pieces rather than absent entirely, mention this detail when booking, since it points towards the water system rather than refrigeration.
Why scale build-up is worth taking seriously
