Hemel Hempstead bar and restaurant ice machine specialists
Ice machines in Hemel Hempstead get sized wrong more often than any other refrigeration kit — most bar calls we attend are because the spec was off, not the machine. Sitting close to M1 J8, the run from our Hemel yard rarely takes more than 20 minutes once we're loaded. Hemel Hempstead railway station (London Euston line) pulls a commuter population into Hemel Hempstead, and that shows up in the kind of ice machine installation enquiries we take from Dacorum. We price around it rather than pretending it isn't there. Where it makes sense, we phase the install so the shop doesn't have to close. Between light industrial units and new-build flats, no two Hemel Hempstead surveys look alike — the ice machine installation spec follows the building. Hemel Hempstead falls under Dacorum in Hertfordshire (HP1, HP2, HP3), which decides the planning and noise rules we quote to. That shapes the survey more than most people expect. From Hemel Hempstead we also reach Berkhamsted (4 miles west), St Albans (6 miles east), Watford (7 miles south-east), so ice machines visits get routed together.

Questions we get in Hemel Hempstead
Frequently asked
+Which ice machine brand do you recommend in Hemel Hempstead?
Manitowoc, Hoshizaki and Scotsman are our usual picks for Hemel Hempstead hospitality — we choose by ice shape, footprint and the support network behind the brand.
+What does the ice machine need for water and drain in Hemel Hempstead?
Mains cold water with a service valve, ideally with a scale filter; gravity drain to a tundish nearby. We'll plumb both as part of the Hemel Hempstead install if needed.
+Is VRF or split better for an office in Hemel Hempstead?
For anything past around six indoor units in a Hemel Hempstead office, VRF usually wins on running cost and on the look of the building — fewer outdoor units, simpler controls, and proper zoning. We'll model both options before we recommend.
+Are the outdoor units noisy?
Modern outdoor units run at roughly the level of a fridge once they're up and running. We pick mounting positions in Hemel Hempstead that keep airflow away from windows and bedrooms, and we'll talk through wall-bracket vs floor-stand options before we drill anything.
+Can you install out of hours in Hemel Hempstead?
Yes — for retail, restaurants and offices in Hemel Hempstead we'll work evenings and weekends so the trading day isn't interrupted. We agree noisy phases in advance so you can plan around them.
+Will the system heat as well as cool?
Modern heat-pump air conditioning will heat as well as cool — and in many Hemel Hempstead properties it's the most efficient heating top-up you can install, especially in extensions and home offices that the central heating struggles with.
